Meet your teacher
Hi, I’m Ashley - a yoga teacher, nutritional therapist, and science nerd at heart.
I created this course because I know how overwhelming nutrition can feel. I’ve been there - doing everything “mostly right,” yet still feeling tired, confused, or out of sync with my body.
Why I do this
I’ve always wanted to understand why things work - not just follow advice blindly. That’s why I studied Biological Sciences, Genetics, and Cancer, and later became a Nutritional Therapist and yoga teacher. I wanted to combine real science with practical tools to help people feel better in their everyday lives.
What I learned (and now teach)
Most of the nutrition advice out there is scattered or extreme (and even inaccurate!) It left me second-guessing meals and even slipping into disordered eating patterns. I knew there had to be a better way - one rooted in knowledge, self-trust, and balance.
This course is everything I wish I’d had years ago: a calm, grounded space to understand the basics of food, energy, and nourishment — without dieting, restriction, or rules. Food is my medicine now.

Unlike scattered tips and generic advice, this course offers a step-by-step plan with expert guidance and structured lesson. It offers insight and backs it up with the educational knowledge of why you would make changes to your diet, in a logical order vs trying to implement random bits of advice you’ve heard about online for free that may not actually be correct.

It’s completely self-paced, so you can start anytime and revisit as often as you need. All the content is presented in video format, I’m talking you through a slide deck presentation in each video.

The course emphasises flexible nutrition principles that you can apply to most dietary needs. I don’t cover specific dietary needs in detail (like gluten free or vegetarian, etc) but you can take out foods that are suggested in the lists I’ve provided that do not belong in your personal dietary needs/preferences and focus on the alternatives that do fit into your life appropriately
